Brooklyn Blackout is a dramatic handmade tassel built from layers of twisted cord, wrapped details, soft pom-poms, a faceted black bead, and a smaller ornamental tassel set into its sculptural upper section. The long, dense fringe gives the piece weight and movement, while the monochrome palette keeps it sharp and architectural.

Inspired by Brooklyn after dark — shadowed facades, black fire escapes, late-night streets, and the strange elegance of a city stripped of color.
